World of Final Fantasy | logoWorld of Final Fantasy is getting a demo on October 17th. The demo follows the protagonists, Reynn and Lann, as they travel in their Lilikin and Jiant forms. Iconic Final Fantasy characters, such as Cloud, Lightning, and Squall, also make an appearance. Furthermore, players who beat the demo get the opportunity to fight and capture the “Magitek Armor P” at the coliseum in the full game.

Along with the demo, Square Enix revealed the opening cinematic:

World of Final Fantasy releases on Playstation 4 and Playstation Vita on October 25th. The Day One Edition comes with an exclusive Sephiroth summon DLC and Japanese voice-over add-on. Find out more at the official website.

    The intro was really well animated, but I don’t think the music was fitting. A demo could convince people who are on the fence with this game.

    The preorder bonuses are still pretty nasty – putting a fan favourite character and JP voices behind the preorder is a dick move.

    I played the PAX demo, and it was pretty fun. It was very clear that they are targeting a younger audience, so keep that in mind if you are looking at getting this game.

    It had traditional turn-based fighting with unique system where the monsters stacked on top of one another to accumulate stats, but they can be knocked down like a Jenga tower to separate them. Getting the monsters in your party reminded me of pokemon.
