The One True King of Fighters Will Be Crowned Early 2017

We announced THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIV World Championship back in August, but today we’ve got a brand new announcement trailer to share with you all. Watch how the magnificent Antonov and his Director Yakov came up with the tournament, and if you follow competitive KOF XIV you might see some familiar faces in the trailer! Don’t let those smiling faces fool you though, because those players are some of the best of the best players around. If you want to see untouchable Nakoruru action, jaw dropping skills with Mai, and overall godlike levels of KOF XIV gameplay, you definitely want to tune in for the World Championship. Seriously, there’s not a lot that can beat watching professional fighting gamers doing what they do best! There will be sweat and there will be tears, but in the end there can only be one king.

The tournament will contain 16 of the best KOF XIV players from around the world, and will take place early 2017. Upcoming North American qualifiers will be held at SoCal Regionals (Oct. 14-16) and Canada Cup(Oct. 28-30), and more information about the event will be provided at a later date.
