Yakuza 0 (2)
The ESRB rating for Yakuza 0 was released recently, and while some of the game’s more mature content was mentioned, not all were accounted for. Thanks to Youtube channel, Censored Gaming who have recently went into contact with Sega’s PR representative John Hardin, it seems it will indeed be released in the West uncensored.

Production has confirmed that no gameplay features like that have been cut. Actually, our demo at E3 and GameStop Expo included the scene where you have to train the BDSM mistress,” he said. “Yakuza 0’s Kamurocho and Sotenbori are as raw as ever.

So yes, from the Cat Fight minigame to the collectible lewd cards with JAV videos included, all of it will be in the game unscathed. Yakuza 0 is slated for release on January 24 in both North America and Europe exclusively on the PlayStation 4.

I would have been surprised if they said otherwise considering 4 & 5. I am so excited to play this game.

  • Mr0303

Good to hear that in this age of censorship Sega has the balls to release this untouched. This and Sonic Mania gives me hope that they are on the right path.

      *fingers crossed*

“Sniff” *wipe away a Tear* This is great news so day 1 purchase, sega got balls to brought this over uncensored i hope it full uncensored, not like PQube half promises with Valkyrie drive.

But have seen some footage and since Jav Vids shows real life actress, it given a pass. And since real footage as well the fight minigame, do not expert lolis unlike drawing real footage will be treated different.

You notice the game rated M, Pegi will Rated 18 and that with the real elements. bmx XXX uses real topless models and still BBFC give it a 18 uncut. But what shitty gameplay.

A ecchi game gets a release with-Out real elements still get a M, that should be the outcome no need for censorship. And this game shows ESRB and PEGI are lax when dealing with “sexual content” As ESRB calls it. The question is what USK and Australia make of it.

    • Lord Ackercocke

      Is Valkyrie Drive being censored?

    • Alistair

It already censored for EU, PQube forgot to tell us a small edit is required removal of ages.

But then the question is did they try get it pass the rating boards. They just told us. It coming out uncensored.

I tweeted PQube no responsed yet. I did got two PEGI emails 1 for Valkyrie drive, and the one for blance + Neptune Vs zombies.

That i shall post up later today.

    • Miqubi

they removed the ages and people are screaming their lungs out as if they removed all the lewd stuff, (which they have not).

    • j0eeyy_p

It’s a nontroversy for the most part, with the only redeemable note being that PQube should have disclosed this before launch, if only to satisfy the very vocal, hardcore niche.
