Pirate Pop Plus | Featured

Not too long ago, I got the opportunity to cover a couple of great games being published by 13 AM Games at PAX West. Well, now we are just a couple of weeks away from the release date for one of them! Yes, none other than Pirate Pop Plus is just around the corner, releasing for Wii U and 3DS October 20! Don’t worry, if you’re not a Nintendo fan, you will also be able to pick up the game digitally on Steam when it releases November 4.

Pirate Pop Plus | Bubbles!

In case you forgot, Pirate Pop Plus is a beautifully simple nod to games of the past. It’s all about combos, bubbles and lots of skill and practice. With a wonderful retro aesthetic by Justin Chan of Nuclear Throne fame, the game looks set to become a constant part of my 3DS library. Better yet, it will be bargain priced, so you won’t have to fret over spending a bunch of money.

Feel free to check out the fun trailer for Pirate Pop Plus below, and get ready to pop some bubbles later this month!
