Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions

Dan Green and Eric Stuart have been confirmed by 4K Media to be returning for the English dub of Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark Side Dimensions. The two will be reprising their roles as Yugi Muto/Yami Yugi and Seto Kaiba respectively.

4K Media gave a sneak peek at the English dub in a new trailer:

Though the film already premiered in Japan back in April, Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark Side Dimensions premieres elsewhere in early 2017. The movie ended up making over 800 million yen (around $7.5 million).

For nostalgia’s sake, it’s nice to see movies like this and Digimon Adventures tri actually go out of their way and get at least some of the original voice actors for the English release. On a side note, there is a contest for two lucky Yu-Gi-Oh! fans to get their voices in the new movie. If you are at the 2016 Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game World Championship in Orlando, Florida this weekend, maybe give it a shot!

For as silly and overdramatic as Yu-Gi-Oh can be, this actually looks pretty badass

Awesome. The Yu-Gi-Oh dub was pretty great and the main voices are a must for the full experience.
