Minature Garden

Fruitbat Factory has announced via Twitter that they are localizing Muzintou’s “Miniature Garden” for a  Steam release. I did a bit of checking around and found out a little bit about this title.  This visual novel is known as  Hakoniwa no Gakuen Japan and is an all ages release. Here is a description from VNDB:

In the woods not far away from the city lies a school which is called the ‘miniature garden’. In reference to its namesake, an original “miniature festival” is held every three years. There’s a rumor that a suspicious death will befall someone on the night of the festival. This year, Yasunari and four other students found themselves trapped alone in the school on the day of the festival at sunset. Will it be just a fake confinement or are the rumours true?

The game features some pretty well known voice talents such as Tokui Sora, Hidaka Rina, and Kakihara Tetsuya.  Here are some of the other features found in this title straight from the press release:

    • A mystery story with multiple endings
    • Over 100 CGs and 300 character sprites
    • Character voices by leading voice actors
    • HD Widescreen resolution

Fruitbat Factory has also posted the opening movie on their YouTube channel for your viewing pleasure.

Miniature Garden will be priced at $19.99 and is available for pre-order from the official Fruitbat Factory store with a -25% pre-order discount.

About Steve Baltimore

Steve started with oprainfall not long after the campaign moved from the IGN forums to Facebook. Ever since, he has been fighting to give all non-mainstream RPGs a fair voice. As the site admin, he will continue to do this and even show there is value in what some would deem "pure ecchi." He loves niche games and anime more than anything... well, except maybe Neptune.
