Pokémon GO

Pokémon GO has taken the world by storm, and Niantic has continued to expand the world of the mobile hit. If you play Pokémon GO, after reaching a certain level you are able to swear your allegiance to one of three teams: Team Valor, Team Mystic and Team Instinct. While the teams have been battling for supremacy at gyms across the world, we now know what the leaders of these teams look like, as well as their names: Candela for Valor, Blanche for Mystic and Spark for Instinct.

What do you think of the newly revealed team leaders? If you don’t currently belong to any team, do any of these leaders sway you to their side? Let us know in the comments below.

About Andrew Mathieu

My name is Andrew Mathieu. I'm a college student and I work part-time in my home state of Connecticut. I'm working towards being a writing and host three blogs on WordPress about animation, comic books, and video games. I hope to one day be able to write comic books and voice my opinions about my favorite fields of entertainment.

Shouldn’t the team leaders be the top players of the world? This will give the game some actual goals. Oh, I forgot it was pay to win. Carry on.

    • Sylveria Shini

I think it’s worse than pay to win. It’s pay to play and win. Atleast most F2P games put you on a timer or atleast throw you a small bone every day to keep you hooked. I don’t live near any pokestops, at all, like I’d have to walk 4ish miles to even get to the ones in town and I’ll be fucked if I’m gonna walk/drive to civilization to catch invisible monsters.

  • Daymon

The game is actually fun if you’re just being super casual about it – I use it to make me get out of the house, off my lazy ass, and take the dog for increasingly longer walks. I’ve yet to have to pay for anything, and I have to make a 2 mile loop just to hit up the whopping 5 stops in my neighborhood.

  • Razorfall

Still doesn’t make the game any less of a complete shit show. I’m stumped as to why it’s so popular.

  • Paychi

It’s only been out for 3 weeks. There’s updates planned for it. It’s a free game, there’s no need to pay, and there’s not really any “winning” unless you count catching all 151. The way gyms work it doesn’t even matter if you’re hardcore. Maybe when battling other people is added it will get competitive. Give the game a break. Jesus christ people. And it’s popular because it’s doing more to fight obesity than Michelle Obama will ever do. It’s getting anti-social people out of the house and it’s actually bringing families closer. Yeah it’s not PERFECT virtual reality Pokemon, but it can be fun and it’s an excuse for people to stop being so seclusive. And if you’re argument is “well there’s a lot of idiots out there walking off cliffs and getting stabbed and robbed, Pokemon Go was a mistake” then get a clue. Those are outliers and make up probably 1% of the population playing the game, the reason that shit gets attention is typical clickbait trashy media looking for ratings and traffic. Those people are stupid enough to get themselves into trouble with or without Pokemon Go. Sick of people crucifying the game for no reason other than “I don’t like it”. Just ignore it if it’s so bad.

Agree, people just like to blame something, because its Nintendo..
Nintendo must die, be third party, be brought out,…ect.ect.. yo all know it.
Nintendo must disappear. Because its Nintendo. Whatever is Nintendo. Theres always a reason & a excuse all at the same time. Even the game is develop not by Nintendo. But still people only see Nintendo. Because Nintendo have partial ownership in Pokemon series. People at the moment just cared about Nintendo demise and removing themselves from all existing market. Thats all there is to it. If pokemon have a large shared by Sony and not Nintendo. You’ll gonna see the greatness awaits result. It is highly praise and support, because its Sony.
That just the way how deluded things have been for so long.

Pretty crazy how popular this game got. Joined team mystic but team valor’s leader looks really nice.

Anyway, I enjoy it as you don’t have to spend a cent and it gives me an excuse to walk around when the weather is nice. Nothing more, nothing less.
