March Comes in Like a Lion | Bump of Chicken

March Comes in Like a Lion will receive an Opening and Ending theme for the anime adaptation of the manga from Bump of Chicken.

The band is set to write a new song for the anime’s opening. Bump of Chicken has provided music for Final Fantasy Type-0, Kekkai Senson, and many other projects. Additionally, the band’s music will also be featured in the ending credits with their song ‘Fighter’. This song was originally created as a collaboration with the manga in 2014.

You can listen to Fighter below:

Crunchyroll details the anime:

The story of the series follows Rei Kiriyama, 17 year old professional shogi player whose family perished in an automobile accident. Rei begins to open his heart to other people after befriending the three Kawamoto sisters.

March Comes in Like a Lion will premier in October 2016.

Uh, obviously the most important thing they ever did was the opening animated scene for Tales of the Abyss. Still my favorite video game song to this day, and my favorite Tales game.

Okay, yeah, that’s appropriate as fuck.
