MeiQ-04
It seems the Australian Classification Board has turned down Idea Factory International’s upcoming dungeon-crawler MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death. This will give the game an RC rating in the region, a rating that was last given to Hotline Miami 2, in Australia.

MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death is loosely tied to characters from the PlayStation Vita game Trillion: God of Destruction. Additionally, there’s no word at this time on why the game is receiving this rating. The ESRB has given the title a Teen rating and Japan similarly received a Cero B.

Operation Rainfall is currently working on an impressions piece from our time with the title at E3. It’s safe to say that the RC rating is a stretch, as there wasn’t much in the way of fan service. Other than a few giggling boobs and outfits. This could mean that the game will have to undergo changes to receive a lower rating in Australia, but nothing has been revealed at this time.

MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death is coming to the PlayStation Vita in Fall 2016 in North America and Europe.
