Monster Hunter Manga

Viz Media releases the next volume in the Monster Hunter manga this week. Based on the popular video game series, the second volume of Monster Hunter: Flash Hunter continues the story of Raiga, Keres, and Torche as they track down the Qurupeco. The series is written by Keiichi Hikami with artwork by Shin Yamamoto. Viz describes the series via press release:

The three Hunters—Raiga, Keres and Torche—need to work together to take down the Qurupeco. If they can overcome their differences they’ll have a chance, but as they put their plan into action, a massive shape blocks out the sun. A Rathian, a fearsome beast called the “Queen of the Land,” descends upon them…

In other news, those who have been trying to condense their Evangelion manga collection no longer have to wait. The fifth 2-in-1 Edition combines the last two volumes of the series:

The Third Impact has come. As the unbelievably massive form of Ayanami towers over the Earth, the Instrumentality Project enters its last stages. While the world shudders in terror as it is engulfed in a sea of LCL, Shinji’s consciousness merges with Lilith’s, and he searches his memories for a final understanding of himself and the fate of humanity.

Lastly, Viz highlighted a new series they are publishing, Black Clover, through a video:

Young Asta was born with no magic ability in a world where magic is everything. In order to prove his strength and keep a promise with his friend, Asta dreams of becoming the greatest mage in the land, the Wizard King!
