After being teased not too long ago, it’s been made official that Stardew Valley will be coming to Playstation 4, Xbox One and Wii U! The console port is being made in conjunction with Chucklefish and Sickhead Games, with a planned release window of Winter 2016. The developers cited making the game feel intuitive on modern-day game controllers, and specifically mentioned taking advantage of the Wii U GamePad touch screen.
For those who don’t know, Stardew Valley is a Kickstarted game that is heavily inspired by the Harvest Moon series, and quickly gained mainstream attention from gamers and media alike. It’s nice to see no current console owners will be left out on this farming sim adventure.
