Microsoft have announced Forza Horizon 3 for Xbox One and Windows 10 at their E3 press conference for release on September 27 this year.

They also premiered the first gameplay of the game, which is set in Australia. The developers, Playground Games, say this is the most diverse world they have ever built for the series, complete with the largest roster of cars seen in a Forza Horizon game.

Also featured will be new terrain such as the Australian outback, new challenges and vehicle types. There is also a brand new four-player co-op mode present in the single player campaign, which is a first for this series.

Forza Horizon 3 will release for Xbox One and Windows 10 on September 27.
