The release date for the second Kizumonogatari film, Nekketsu-hen, will release August 19th. The film was previously listed with just a summer release. The planned three-part film series is an adaptation of the second book in the Monogatari mystery series by Nisio Isin with illustrations by VOFAN.

In other Monogatari related news, the next entry in the novels, Nademonogatari (“Caressing Story”), will release July 29th by Kodansha. The next book after that, Musubimonogatari (“Binding Story”), is also set to release sometime this year, but an exact date has not been announced.
