sakamoto is perfect | Sakamoto

It appears that Sakamoto, the perfect high schooler that makes even getting bullied look cool, won’t be seen on TV for his finale. Due to the Kumamoto earthquakes of last month, Haven’t You Heard? I’m Sakamoto has been delayed by one episode each week, leaving the 13th and final episode to be chopped off the TBS viewing block. No need to fret, as the episode will be included in the DVD and Blu-ray release, though that will not be until October 26th in Japan.

The publisher for the North America, Sentai Filmworks, describes the series:

Just who is Sakamoto? He’s enigmatic. He’s clever. He’s dashing. No challenge is too great and no cause is too small for Sakamoto. Girls love him, guys hate him for it, and despite efforts to humiliate him, Sakamoto is flawlessly able to emerge from the fray, even cooler than ever. Who knows what Sakamoto is going to do next? Whatever it is, it will be fabulous!

It’s yet to be seen if Crunchyroll will add the episode to their stream when it comes out, though one can assume it will be added to the eventual Sentai Filmworks home release. The manga, which ran from 2011 to the end of last year, is currently being published in North American by Seven Seas Entertainment. With this being my favorite anime of this current season, it saddens me that we will have to wait until October to see the final episode.
