E3 2016

With just over a month left until E3 2016 in Los Angeles, the final schedule is starting to fall into place. Keep in mind that not all companies have reported their plans as of yet, so this schedule information is incomplete. For the 2016 E3 event, the show floor will open on Tuesday, June 14th. Here is a list of scheduling information for many of the large companies who have reported their plans already.

You may notice that one of the big three of the console world is missing from the scheduling information below. The reason Nintendo is not listed is because they are not going to be doing a press conference or a Direct presentation this year. They will be streaming all week during E3, and have already announced that the upcoming Zelda U will be the main focus of their presence at E3 2016. Nintendo is expected to deliver its presentation (in whatever format they decide on for this year) on Tuesday, June 14th (immediately prior to the opening of the E3 show floor).

About Michael Fontanini

Michael is a veteran gamer in my early 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES and SNES. He loves Nintendo but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks or bike rides, and loves animals.

Michael is also a computer programmer. This started with a toy he got as a kid called PreComputer 1000 that was made by V-Tech. It had a simple programming mode which is what started him down the road of being a programmer! Michael can program in BASIC, Visual Basic, C++, C#, and is familiar with Java and Lua Script.

Putting programming and gaming together, Michael became a hobbyist game developer which may give him some good insights on game development! Most recently, he has been playing with the free version of the Unity engine (a powerful and easy-to-use game engine).

I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.

Like every year the EA and Ubisoft conferences are likely to be torture, but I kind of want to see what the next Star Wars game will be.

I’m most interested in Bethesda’s conference. Now that Doom is out the only big game they have is Dishonoured 2, so there may be some surprises.

MS is a wild card. They do have Gears 4 and Crackdown 3, but they really need to show some new IPs, especially after the recent closure of Lionhead.

Sony’s conference could be a mixed bag. I’m hoping we see a release date for The Last Guardian and with some luck Horizon, but they can shoot themselves in the foot with the PS4K nonsense.

Here’s hoping the Bethesda show is once again hosted by the cocaine-fueled antics of Adam Sessler…

That shitbag is still around? I remember when he got so butthurt he didin’t get a kingdoms of amalur collectors edition he gave them scathing review on X-Play, and then made a video defending the review. Yeah it was a disappointing game, but it was no where near as bad as he said it was.

Yes, he makes a living as an sjw.

    No Nintendo conference? Lame.
