NIS America has announced today that their first localized Touhou title, Touhou Genso Rondo: Bullet Ballet, will be coming to North America on September 6 and Europe on September 9. It will be available both physically and digitally on the PlayStation 4. As usual, NIS America has a Limited Edition available as well, the details of which can be found below in their press release. The website for Touhou Genso Rondo has also been launched, with a new promotional trailer for the game. This marks the first time a physical Touhou game has been localized on a console in the West, so this could end up being a pretty exciting release. More details, screens and the trailer can be found below.

Does this even have a decent following in the weeb community? Sure people fap to the doujinshi but not too many care to pirate the games in the west.

    • Panpopo

I remember this being pretty popular a few years ago. Whether that translates to sales or not remains to be seen.

The price point of the limited edition is very nice, in my opinion. I will be getting this myself, for what it’s worth.

    • MusouTensei

Pirate? I import the original games from japan, I have all official games from TH06 to TH15 (1-5 can only be pirated really as they are from an old japanese computer and have to be emulated on PC) including the spin offs except the fighting games on original CD-Rom.

  • Mr0303

Wow, a Touhou game coming to the West? I may support it even though I kind of suck at bullet hells.

  • MusouTensei

Hm, NISA, gonna wait then if anything got censored or is has game breaking bugs.
I am intrigued though, especially since it’s a physical release.
