Yandere Simulator l Yandere-Chan

This is Yandere-Chan, the protagonist of Yandere Simulator.

If you’ve been keeping up with the tentatively titled, Yandere Simulator, or have been playing it’s testing builds, you may have noticed a strange girl standing under a cherry tree. You may also have noticed she is literally impossible to kill. Well in a new blog post “YandereDev”, the game’s one-man development team, outlined his intentions with this character. She is “Rival-chan”, a girl who’s also after Senpai’s heart, and there is planned to be nine more girls like her in the final game. The game’s whole objective is to somehow eliminate these rivals for Sanpai’s affection in one way or another.

YandereDev explained that he is not yet ready to implement rivals into current builds, and still needs to add and fine-tune other features first. The rivals are likely the most important feature. Eliminating them is Yandere Simulator’s win state. He wants to make sure getting rid of them will be challenging, and not something that can be done too quickly, so it’s not something that can just be haphazardly thrown in.

Rival-chan’s inclusion may not be too far off, however. In fact they may be added to a new test build in a few months according to YandereDev. In the meantime he’s planning the next build for May 1st. You can checkout the current build here if you want. Just don’t bug YandereDev with pointless emails! He also uploaded this fun little video to the games YouTube Channel.
