Visual novel developer Key has announced that planetarian ~the reverie of a little planet~ would be receiving an anime adaptation. No other information has been released about the adaptation but a promotional video (PV) was released for the upcoming anime. You can check out that PV below.

The anime will be produced by David Production. David Production is known for producing anime such as Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure and Level E.

On April 15th a special “production presentation event” will be held in Akihabara. Admission to the event will be free and it will be streamed live on Niconico.

planetarian ~the reverie of a little planet~ is a “kinetic novel” developed by VisualArt’s/Key. It was released in Japan on November 29, 2004 on PC. The visual novel was released worldwide almost ten years later in 2014. The worldwide release was distributed on the Steam platform and was published by Sekai Project.

Yuuichi Suzumoto wrote the story for planetarian with art by Eeji Komatsu. The soundtrack was composed by Magome Togoshi and Shinji Orito.
