The House in Fata Morgana Story Image

MangaGamer has announced the release date for their latest all-ages visual novel The House in Fata Morgana, May 13, 2016. The title was developed by studio Novectacle and is a horror/suspense story strongly reminiscent of Edgar Allen Poe. Pre-orders have started, but not just for the regular game. There is also a Deluxe Edition, that includes a massive soundtrack, and the soundtrack is also available to purchase as a separate item.

All of these items are on temporary sale, so check them out if you are interested. Here is the normal digital release for MSRP $24.95. Here is the link for the soundtrack, which is 68 tracks for $11.95. And if you would like both in the Deluxe Edition, it is MSRP $34.95 and you can get it here. On both the soundtrack page and the Deluxe Edition page, you can find links to listen to 6 of the tracks. It is very quality music, so I can understand why they would want to offer it. And no matter how you look at it, 68 tracks is a huge number for any visual novel. So the developers were obviously very interested in making the music for this title a strong part of the experience.

As a fan of this genre, and especially Poe, this title announcement has me very interested. So I’ll keep an eye on it and update you all here at Operation Rainfall. Lastly, here is the trailer for the Visual Novel, take a look and see if it’s up your alley as well.
