In their most recent Star Ocean Program broadcast, Square Enix outlined the differences between the PS3 and PS4 versions of Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness. We won’t be seeing the PlayStation 3 version here in the West, so if you want to experience it localized, you’ll have to own a PlayStation 4. There is no cross-save feature, but you can make use of the Share button and it does support PS Vita Remote Play. It also runs at 60FPS at 1080P on the PS4, and has better draw distance, effects, and physics processing than the PS3 version.

Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness

Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness will be releasing on PS4 and PS3 in Japan on March 31, and will be coming to North America and Europe sometime in 2016. You can watch the full Star Ocean Program below.

Considering what’s being discovered about Bravely Second, My question is who is localizing it? and How much will it be butchered.

    • Mr0303

Censoring Fiore’s costume will be most upsetting.

    • David S

I’m more concerned about the censoring of the quests and ending in BS. Rumors are that all of the bad ending have been removed so you can only get the good ones now. That is worlds worse than just the costume edits.

    • Mr0303

      That would be horrible.

    • Speed12345

I think the censorship was imposed by Nintendo, but lets see what are going to happen. Hope this game come without censorship.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a Vita version in the US down the line, one has to hope.

  • David S

Wow. The more I’m reading about what happened to Bravely Second, the more I have this gut wrenching feeling Square is going to totally fuck up this localization too.
