XSEED has launched it’s first update on the Senran Kagura Estival Versus blog. The blog goes into detail on the process of writing for the huge cast of characters and making them unique.
Whenever I write, I try to make sure that no two characters sound alike. Ideally, if a reader sees a line of dialogue without its name tag or character portrait, they should be able to tell, just from the line’s tone and diction, which character said it.
There are few minor story spoilers scattered throughout the blog, but nothing that should enrage fans, still, proceed with caution. I found it surprising that the girls are still in the same year they were in since Burst. This will be XSEED’s fifth Senran Kagura title and it really shows how much effort the put into carefully translating and localizing these fast paced action games.
Senran Kagura: Estival Versus will release on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on March 26.
