Fire Emblem Fates

Fire Emblem Fates is just around the corner, and Nintendo has released another 30 second ad for the upcoming strategy RPG. The short trailer mixes cinematics and gameplay while emphasizing the different sides of the war the main character will be taking part in. There are glimpses of the partner mechanic, destructible environments, and combat. Nintendo released a commercial the other day focused on the two kingdoms the main character has to choose from.

The marketing is keeping the dual nature of Fire Emblem Fates as a running theme. It will be interesting to see if Revelation and other DLC will get some attention as well. Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright and Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest will release in North America on February 19.

Can we just have everyone in NoA Treehouse division doxxed for what they did last year with Tri-Force Heroes (memeing it up), XCX (editing Lin Lee’s outfits and the boob slider thing), and now this game (Not making Soleli a romantic choice due to that whole ‘gay conversion’ thing already being debunked since last year and the whole skin shipping thing too.) #doxNoA #downwithNoA

Wait, what?!?! I’m pretty sure they are just changing Soleli’s lines.

    • I<3Pawnee

Doxxing is NEVER okay. Do you have any idea what that does to people? I think people need to step back from the keyboard for a moment and realize that these are living, breathing people that you are talking about. People with lives that can be ruined by this kind of stuff.

    • Thomas

Here’s something that you need to think about, maybe some people deserve to have their lives ruined because of the god awful choices. The treehouse division made the mistake of ruining FF 5, memeing up Tri-Force Heroes, not making very easy changes when working on XCX. Let them be doxxed, let them suffer on camera, they deserve their punishment for their sins. #doxNoA #downwithNoA

    • I<3Pawnee

I think you’re making a broad statement for a group of people that may have had differing opinions. How do you know every single member is responsible? Should they all be doxxed, even the ones who might have been upset with the way things turned out?

Be passionate. Be upset. Fight for your beliefs and for your cause. But that isn’t the way to go about it. Extremism helps nobody. Build the bigger, better argument. Work to enact change. Cyber bullying is about as far from that as you can get.

    • Thomas

Yeah, let’s just keep letting the memers running the treehouse meme and censor more games without doing anything. Their is no way that being okay with any of the shit that’s been going on with NoA is not okay. It needs to stop, and if that means hurting finances and the lives of all the employees of NoA then so be it. Like I said before they need to suffer for their crimes against video games. #doxNoA #downwithNoA

You’re a fucking moron. Endangering someone’s life over a game? Go fuck yourself, kid.

Am I the only who hated the game being split in two? I wanted to see all this content in a single game with new game+ options.
