Bandai Namco Entertainment isn’t done with their Holiday Game Announcements as they have announced another game for localization in the West. The newest game in the Sword Art Online franchise, Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization, will be coming to both North America and Europe. The game will be released for both the PS4 and PS Vita. You can check out the trailer announcing the localization below.

Unlike the previous game in the series Lost Song, Hollow Realization will not be developed by Artdink. Instead the game is being developed by Aquria, the developer of Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment. Based on the trailer it looks like an improved version of the gameplay found in Hollow Fragment, a departure from the Action RPG style gameplay found in Lost Song. You will be able to bring three party members with you. So now the max number of people allowed in your party is four (three party members and the character you control). You will also be able to jump in the game, a mechanic returning from Lost Song.

Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization | Unnamed Female Character

The game will take place in Sword Art: Origin, a world which is very similar to the original Aincrad. Kirito will start out at Level 1 in this game so you will get to build his skills up from the ground up. The characters that are confirmed to be in this game so far are: Kirito, Asuna, Silica, Lisbeth, and an unknown female character.

Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization is set to release in the West in 2016. It will release on PS4 and PS Vita. If you’re interested in the game you can check the official English website for the Sword Art Online games HERE. You can also check out the game’s official Facebook page HERE.
