Bloodborne

On the Japanese Playstation under ‘Bloodborne News‘, it was revealed thatstarting with the 1.09 update to From Software’s spiritual successor to the Dark Souls series and a damn good game in its own right, you can now purchase the rare and coveted Blood Rocks for the ‘measly’ price of 60 Insight in game. Blood Rocks are the items you need to upgrade your weapons from +9 to +10, and you could only ever get one on a regular playthrough of the game’s campaign (a second one was added with The Old Hunters expansion.) There were a couple of other ways to get them if you really wanted to invest enough time grinding it out, but now From Software has cut that process out of the equation…if you have the Insight to spare. This is, all things considered, a good thing for Yharnam’s beleaguered hunters.

Here’s the full list of modifications from update 1.09, straight from the blog:

Changes to weapons
The strength and stamina cost for several weapons has been adjusted.

Changes to Insight Shop
・In order to trade for the Blood stone Chuck, the necessary amount of Insight has been changed from 30 to 20.
・Trading for the Blood Rock is now possible. 60 pieces of Insight are required.
※ A certain portion of the main game must been cleared in order to access the above.

Several other fixes and adjustments have been made.
