I’ve been waiting a long while for more information on the upcoming 3DS release of Fire Emblem Fates. I loved Awakening, and am absolutely stoked for the new entry. The good news is, our wait isn’t for much longer, as they finally announced in the Nintendo Direct that Fire Emblem Fates is slated to release February 19th, 2016. Better yet, those who buy one version of the game, either Birthright or Conquest for $39.99, can download the other version for a reduced price of 19.99. Half off seems more than fair, since owning both opens up a third route, called Revelation.

That’s exciting news, but even more exciting is the news that there is a Special Edition of the game that will sell for $79.99, which will come with physical versions of all the games, as well as an artbook and 3DS XL pouch. And finally, last but not least, there is DLC coming out for Fates, including one free map and many others. I cannot wait til February, and think I might just have to get that juicy Special Edition. Chime in below if you feel the same!
