Radiant Historia

Mitsuru Harata, the director of the critically acclaimed Nintendo DS RPG Radiant Historia, has tweeted about the game to celebrate the game’s fifth Anniversary, which was last week. In said tweet, he said:

“Oh, is it already 5 years! Although it is hard to admit that it was never a hit, I’m really grateful to see that many people still love it. Personally I also have a strong emotional attachment with this title. I’ll always hold onto an attitude ‘someday a new Radiant Historia!’ lol #rh_atlus”

Of course, this does not mean a sequel is 100% confirmed, so do not get too excited just yet. Radiant Historia was a hit among RPG fans when it came out with some considering it the best RPG on the handheld. The director is very fond of the work put into it, and if a sequel is indeed going to happen, we will more than likely be hearing a lot more about it. When that happens, get your wallets and hype ready. For now, how about we just take a second to appreciate the game and what it accomplished back when it came out.

I was lucky to have bought this game when I did back in 2010. I happened to browse across my local store and happened to find this game new at a lower price than full retail. I snagged it and didn’t look back when the value of the game shot up.

Really? Seems plentiful enough for under $30, and that’s or a new copy.

I think I got it used for a bit over $20 or something like that. Great game, it was one of the best on the DS.

Was that the one with the two parallel timelines or something weird like that?
    It looked really fun.
Shame it wasn’t released over here in Europe. 🙁
