Hatsune Miku and Namie Amuro collab

The official YouTube channel for Japanese singer, Namie Amuro, began streaming a new music video. The song in the video was a collaboration with Crypton Future Media’s Superstar Vocaloid sensation Hatsune Miku. The music video itself is animated and the song is titled “B Who I Want 2 B feat. HATSUNE MIKU”. You can check out the music video below.

The song is featured in Amuro’s latest album _genic which was released on June 10 by Dimension Point. The music video was created using both 3D CG animation and 2D animation and the concept of the video is “Neo Tokyo”.

Nylon TV also began streaming “Making Of” videos for the music videos. The “Making Of” video portrays both Namie Amuro and Hatsune Miku in their 3D CG forms casually talking and relaxing. You can check out the “Making Of” video below.

The song’s key visual which you can see at the top of the page was designed by Shigenori Soejima, the character designer for Persona 3, Persona 4 and Catherine. Hatsune Miku’s design in the visual is the same design they will utilize in the upcoming Persona 4: Dancing All Night DLC.

“B Who I Want 2 B feat. HATSUNE MIKU” was produced by Sophie and the lyrics were written by both Sophie and Mitchie M. Sophie is a producer in the British underground and recently collaborated on Madonna’s new song “Bitch I’m Madonna.” Mitchie M is a famous producer of Vocaloid songs. His music videos have gathered over 20 million views on video sharing websites.

Namie Amuro is currently on a nationwide , 15 city, 44 concert tour titled “ Amuro Livegenic 2015-2016”. There is currently a poll on her website asking fans which artist her fans would like to see her collaborate with next.
