Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee

Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee is not just on sale, its literally being given away for free on Steam. This isn’t the only Oddworld-related deal on Steam right now, either. However, this 24-hour deal won’t last long. You have until 10:00AM Pacific Time on September 24th to grab your copy. Upon doing so, you will own a nice and free copy of the game. This would be a great time to get it for a friend to get them into the series, or to get into it yourself if you haven’t done so yet.

Additionally, if you like what you see after playing Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee, you can jump back into the Steam store and grab the HD remake, Oddworld: New & Tasty for half price ($9.99). It will be on sale with this 50% discount until Friday, September 25th at 10:00AM Pacific Time. You can also get this deal on Gog.com during the same time frame.

The Oddworld games are of course.. well.. odd. That’s not a bad thing though, as they are charming games that are fun to play. Abe the Mudokon is often the main character that you will control in the Oddworld series as you experience the bizarre world he lives in and take care of the evil that he set out to end. He is a goofy and unlikely hero, but he has a very odd adventure ahead of him to stop a dark plot involving a food product. If you haven’t played the games, or just haven’t played the first game then you should take advantage of this deal and grab your free copy of Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee on the Steam store now! And don’t forget that Oddworld: New & Tasty, the HD remake is 50% off on both Steam and Gog.com until early Friday morning!

Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
