Steins;GateAccording to the trailer that the official PlayStation channel uploaded to YouTube (which you can watch below), the North American version of Steins;Gate will be available exclusively on Amazon.com. The game is set to release on August 25.  PQube is the publisher for Steins;Gate, and has been handling its localization. For those of you who don’t want to wait, the European version of Steins;Gate is already available at many online retailers for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita systems.

In related news, a new trailer for Steins;Gate 0, the sequel to the visual novel, has been revealed by 5pb and MAGES.  Steins;Gate 0 will be releasing on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PS Vita in Japan on November 19. You can watch the new trailer below.

The article is slightly inccorect. Steins;Gate US is NOT exclusive to Amazon. You can actually pre-order the North American El Psy Kongroo Edition from Rice Digital, though it is 49.99 British Pounds, which is around $80 USD.

It seems they changed the priced to USD, though, as well. Here is a link:

Rice Digital only is managing the special edition, Amazon will be managing the regular one

    • Yuri Lisboa

Which is exactly what he meant with “slightly incorrect”.

    • Ragnawind

yes, that is what I meant. This article specifically states that you can only get the North American version of this game from Amazon, which is incorrect., hence the “slightly incorrect” part. It is correct in that one version is available only from Amazon, but another version is also available at Rice Digital, so the claim of “the North American version of Steins;Gate will be available exclusively on Amazon.com”, is incorrect. Just removing exclusively would make it more accurate, though it would make more sense to not only remove that, but also make mention of the Rice Digital availability for the game.

    I’ll get it at GameStop
