Splatoon NWC 2015
Splatoon
Time to head back to Splatoon.

Splatoon is making it hard to stay away from. Last night, the third new map for the game was released. It’s called Bluefin Depot and it’s based on a single player level from the campaign mode. This brings the map rotation for Splatoon to eight so far. Maps change every four hours for both Regular and Ranked modes.

Splatoon - Bluefin Depot

It’s a more vertically oriented map, with lots of walls to climb and great vantage points for players who want to use the charger type weapons, which are the equivalent of sniper guns. It also makes getting around a bit more complicated than in other maps. I imagine it will play quite differently in Turf War and Splat Zones, which is something that is already apparent in some of the other maps.

Nintendo is regularly releasing weapons and maps every week since Splatoon launched. Are you still playing? How often are you logging in? Give us your thoughts in the comments section.
