Godzilla | E3 2015

Bandai Namco shared a most delightful E3 preview video of their PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 video game Godzilla, which was released last year in Japan and is scheduled to come out on July 14, 2015 in North America and July 17, 2015 in Europe. This trailer promises so much to kaiju fans the world over that it’s almost like a dream come true. In it, we get a full roster announcement, modes where we can choose to either protect or destroy the city, giant face offs against any number of kaiju nemeses, the ability to play every monster in the game, team up modes, online modes, different versions of Godzilla that can square off and prove once and for all who the REAL king is and enough destructive mayhem to put you in a kaiju coma. This is a good, long trailer that really knocks it out of the park.

The game looks great and like a lot of fun and I can’t wait to get my hands on this bad boy! It appears the Toho Studio gang’s all here, folks. Just too bad we can’t have Gamera since he’s owned by a different company. Still, between Mothra, Rodan, all three versions of Mecha Godzilla, both versions of King Gidorah, nearly every cinematic interpretation of Godzilla and even more monsters, this game is packed to the gills. They’ve even got Jet Jaguar in here, and who wouldn’t want to play a giant puroresu robot that can dropkick Biollante in the face? Do yourself a favor and PLEASE watch this trailer!

Godzilla is already out in Japan and is scheduled for release on July 14, 2015 in North America and on July 17, 2015 in Europe. Early buyers can get instant access to the 2014 version of Godzilla.

Really smart, talks too much, loves the video games and the Star Wars and the Game of Thrones, likes the manga and some anime and knows that Kentaro Miura's Berserk is the greatest thing ever made.
