Xbox Game Preview | E3 2015
Launching soon…like, today!

Microsoft really came out swinging this morning during it’s E3 press conference. Along with revealing a solid lineup of games, they also talked about bringing Xbox 360 to Xbox One via backwards compatibility. But for current generation, players will have the chance to dive into software while it’s in development with a new initiative Microsoft is calling the Xbox Game Preview.

This is reminiscent of how Early Access works in Steam. Players will be able to download a version of a game that is in development and try it during a free trial. They can then give feedback on the game and purchase it if they want.

The program launches later today with The Long Dark and Elite: Dangerous. Popular open world survival game DayZ will also be launching on the service during the coming year.

Stay tuned for more news during this E3 week and drop us a comment if you plan on trying out some games for free with this new Microsoft initiative.
