Beatbuddy | E3

It was announced today that Beatbuddy: Tale of the Guardians, developed by THREAKS, is slated to release for XBox One, Wii U and the NVIDIA Shield Android TV Console. While it is coming to XBox One this Summer and has a later date for the Wii U, the NVIDIA version is already available through the Google Play Store for the low price of $5.99. It also appears as though there is a Steam version available for the game. While it’s not clear yet whether or not the XBox, Wii U and NVIDIA versions differ from the Steam version, the game does look pretty appealing.

Beatbuddy | E3

The game will take place across 6 disparate worlds where you control the eponymous little blob as he navigates some epic and colorful madness. I find it strangely reminiscent of aspects of Rayman, except that every single world in Beatbuddy is a living, breathing song. It’s a sort of rhythm puzzle game, and looks pretty interesting to me. I’m sure you’ll agree after checking out the latest trailer for Beatbuddy: Tale of the Guardians.
