Splatoon has been a splash hit so far. The 4 vs 4 regular and ranked modes always seem to have a good amount of players ready to fight it out and Nintendo has added quite a bit of content in the less than two weeks since it’s been released.
The trend continues later today at 7 p.m. Pacific Time here in the west when the latest map gets unlocked for both game modes. It’s called Kelp Dome and those who’ve played the single player campaign will no doubt recognize it from Mission 8. It feels a bit tighter than other maps due to its layout, with a lot of chances to corner or get corned by opponents. It also has upper walkways which will make for interesting mix of strategies, as has been the norm for Splatoon.
With content added at least once a week at no charge, Splatoon is looking better and better. Are you still playing it? Are you waiting for more content? Let us know in the comments.
