Harvest Moon Super Nintendo

On the heels of finding out about a new Harvest Moon game, we find that the publisher Natsume has a full lineup of games revealed for E3. Thanks to a press release we’re happy to confirm the full list of games.

Harvest Moon: Seeds of Memories (Nintendo Wii U / Steam / iOS / Android)

Go back to the roots of Harvest Moon in the latest installment of the series! Inspired by the old-school gameplay of the very first games, Harvest Moon: Seeds of Memories will bring players a sense of nostalgia, along with exciting gameplay twists.

Tasked with the job of revitalizing a farm, players will need to befriend the villagers in town to unlock the titular “Seeds of Memories”! Seeds can be unlocked in many ways, such as giving a villager their favorite item, catching a giant fish, or by raising their first cow. Players will need to be up to the challenge of collecting all of the Seeds of Memories!

Old favorites return in the animal department with cows, sheep, and chickens, along with a horse to ride, and a dog to keep as a pet! Farmers will also have a new pet to take care of, but it isn’t what they’d expect… It’s a bobcat! The bobcat starts out wild, but as players befriend the animal, can they convince the bobcat to become their loyal friend?

Featuring cooking, fishing, foraging, and mining, players will need to upgrade their tools to find the highest-quality items. Players will also be able to participate in contests and festivals like the Cooking Contest and Starry Night Festival!  Woo one of the ten marriage candidates – 5 bachelors and 5 bachelorettes – and find that special someone to make their farming life complete!

Ninja Strike (Nintendo Wii U)

Run, fly, and slash enemies to get the stolen treasures back! Be sure to check out this high-speed, action-packed, side-scrolling title in Natsume’s Ninja series! Whether you go with strength or triple jumping, there is a ninja for you! Choose from 5 different ninjas, each with their own special characteristics. You’ll face much more than just run-of-the-mill henchmen! Use your hard-earned coins to level up a variety of skills that will help you get further and make you tougher! Pick the skills that best fit your playing style! How far can you go?

Gotcha Racing (Nintendo 3DS)

Enjoy the fast-paced action of a top-down racing game with a twist: parts you use to make your car are dispensed by Capsule Machines! As players progress and gain access to better Capsule Machines, your car will become the envy of the racing world! Using both screens means plenty of track visibility, and seeing your personalized car front and center. Try to make the ultimate, unbeatable car! Race on 12 different tracks, compete in Grand Prix races, and conquer six different racing grades while trying your luck with numerous capsule machines to unlock! Combine parts to raise their stats before using StreetPass to race against other players and receive even more parts. Don’t blink, or you’ll miss this high-octane racing game available for Nintendo 3DS this July!

Brave Tank Hero (Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U)

Paradise City has been invaded! It’s up to you, brave soldier, to help take the city back. Complete over 50 action-packed Missions in this 3D action tank game! Power up your tank to take on the increasingly difficult enemies, replay Missions to get better rankings to help power up your tank, and use your radar to plan key tactical strikes. Choose from 3 different types of tanks to take on the enemy, including huge and fearsome boss tanks! Defeat the invading forces to return the “Paradise” back to Paradise City! Keep this game on your radar, soldier: Brave Tank Hero will be available for both Nintendo 3DS and Wii U this August.

It seems like Natsume has some things planned for E3 this year. Most of it for Nintendo consoles (outside of the odd port of Harvest Moon to PC, Android and iOS) where especially games like Harvest Moon have been fruitful on Nintendo platforms. Ninja Strike is a sequel to a series that started on the iOS. The latter two games Gotcha Racing and Brave Tank Hero are being developed by Arc System Works who have developed the Guilty Gear and BlazBlue series. We’ve not heard a lot about Natsume since the loss of Neverland but it seems like Natsume as a publishing business wants to step their game up with a numerous amount of titles in cycle.

Lois Polite
Lois is a forward thinking but old school gamer from New Jersey (who loves Kevin Smith movies as a member of that state!) who is partially of Japanese descent and she's totally glamorous. She's been gaming for practically as long as she's been alive with a early-on fascination for Kid Icarus as her favorite franchise. She's a total hipster for Nintendo as well appreciating cult classics from them. She definitely has a soft spot for JRPGs, which is an obvious inspiration why she joined the campaign of Operation Rainfall at it's launch. Xenoblade Chronicles then became another one of her favorite franchises as the result of this. She's a gamer who demands quality and charm out of her games because if she doesn't get it she will let it be known.
