After teasing their plans yesterday, Nintendo has revealed what they will be doing this year at E3. And it begins Sunday with the return of the Nintendo World Championships. For the first time in over two decades, Nintendo will have gamers competing against one another to see who is the best Nintendo gamer. Qualifying competitions will happen starting May 30th at select Best Buy locations.

As usual, Nintendo will hold their annual Nintendo Digital Event on Tuesday June 16th at 12PM EDT/9AM PDT. This will be the third year Nintendo has a pre-recorded Nintendo Direct-style presentation instead of a live conference.

Also coming back for a second year will be the livestream demos of games with the Nintendo Treehouse. These were a hit last year as gamers got to sit back and get a glimpse of all the games that were coming to 3DS and Wii U. More gaming experiences are expected this time around.

And finally, Nintendo will be partnering again with Best Buy to bring some of the E3 experience closer to home. This year, Mario Maker will be the featured game. You can play it Wednesday June 17th from 4-9PM local time or Saturday June 20th Noon-5PM local time. Gamers who try it out will get some cool swag, like a 30th anniversary Super Mario Bros. pin.

So what do you think? Will you be competing in the Nintendo World Championships? Are you excited to see what happens June 16th? Let us know in the comment below.
