During today’s Splatoon Direct, Nintendo has announced that a free demo will be made available to Wii U owners today. Titled the “Splatoon Global Testfire,” the demo will allow players to try out 4v4 Turf War battles. While the demo is available for download now, the content will only be accessible on specific dates and times. The first hour-long demo will be playable from 8-9 p.m. PT/11-12 a.m. ET and will be livestreamed on Nintendo’s official Twitch channel on Friday, May 8th. The demo will go live again on Saturday from 4-5 a.m. PT/7-8 a.m. ET and 12-1 p.m. PT/3-4 p.m. ET.
Splatoon is set to hit the Wii U on May 29th.
