Code: Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~Aksys Games is localizing the Japanese visual novel Code: Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~ for North America. It will released on the PlayStation Vita and will be available in both digital and physical formats.

Released back in November 2014 in Japan, Code: Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~ stars Cardia, a woman with a rather “unique” condition. Anything her skin touches will either melt or rot. She’s been living in seclusion outside of Victorian era London for over two years when the Royal Guards came to bring her in. But that’s when she’s rescued by the legendary gentleman thief, Arsène Lupin. The two decided to find Cardia’s father who knows more about her condition and why he hasn’t visited her in the last two years.

Cardia’s journey will lead to encounters with various famous literary figures of the time such as Lupin. She’ll also meet Abraham Van Helsing, Victor Frankenstein, Impey Barbicane, and more. And if you play your cards right, one of them might just be the one for you.

Sorry Sailor Moon fans. That’s not who you think it is.

Code: Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~ was developed by Idea Factory/Design Factory and will be released sometime in the fall of 2015. A digital only, European release is also planned as well, but no time frame has been given yet.

Karli Winata
Karli Winata is an avid gamer with a taste for a little bit of everything. Except for sports games. And racing sims. And definitely not hidden object games! I guess everything is too broad a term. Suffice it to say that he has been known to play hours of Call of Duty multiplayer in between bouts of Persona fusing and Star Coin collecting while saving the world/galaxy through sensibly bald space marines or plucky teenagers with impossible hairstyles. Where does he find the time to write about them?
