A pretty big week for the Nintendo Download, and not all of it is games. First things first, new games are coming to the StreetPass Mii Plaza in the forms of Battleground Z and Ultimate Angler. Also on 3DS, we see the beginning of a new set of 3D remakes from SEGA in the form of 3D Fantasy Zone II. And a new puzzle game called DOOORS releases on the 3DS eShop as well. Over on Wii U, Donkey Kong 64 leads the way for new releases, coming to the Virtual Console.

A few more things to note for this week. First, a Super Smash Bros. update is now available for both 3DS and Wii U and is required in order to play online. Second, Nintendo is in the middle of their Super Spring Sale with games like Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Pikmin 3, Golden Sun, A World of Keflings, Mighty Gunvolt, F-Zero: Maximum Velocity and many more on sale for up to 30% off. In addition to that, Atlus is having another sale on 3DS games from April 20th to the 27th. Third, starting today and going until April 26th, Nintendo is holding an International StreetPass Weekend. Just visit a Nintendo Zone hotspot and you’ll receive Miis from all over the U.S., Canada, and Europe. Fourth, Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. is holding a new tournament called “Declaration”, which runs through April 20th.

Finally, Mega May is back with 6 Game Boy Advance titles to be released this year on the Wii U Virtual Console — well, 4 with 2 having two different version of it. In celebration, Capcom wants to know which came you want to see released first on May 7th. Just click here to go to the Capcom-Unity page to vote. The games you will be voting on are as follows:

  • Mega Man and Bass
  • Battle Network 3 Blue and White
  • Battle Network 4 Red Sun and Blue Moon
  • Mega Man Zero 2
