On April 23, Nintendo releases the second pack of Mario Kart 8 DLC. We’ve know that it contains an Animal Crossing course among others and Isabelle and the Villager, as well as Dry Bowser as racers. Now, videos have hit YouTube showing each of the eight new tracks in more detail.

First up is Baby Park from Mario Kart: Double Dash!! on the GameCube. This is a very simple course that featured more than the usual three laps since it’s so small. It seems to be running on anti-gravity this time around so expect a lot of bumping into each other.

Ribbon Road is a remake of the course with the same name found in Mario Kart: Super Circuit. It looks incredible in HD because you seem to be taking part in a toy car track brought to life. One of the more unique courses in the game.

From Mario Kart 7 comes Neo Bowser City. It’s a tough course with a lot of twists and turns, as well as changes to terrain due to rain and an added anti-gravity section near the end of the track.

Another remade track comes from the Game Boy Advance version called Cheese Land. This one looks very different as Mario Kart: Super Circuit was sprite-based, like the original Super Mario Kart. It’s a canyon-like course, so expect lots of hangtime with the glider and watch out for the Chain Chomps.

Nature Road is a brand new course for this DLC and it’s a graphical stunner. It goes all over and under a forest, with some very woodsy-spirited music playing while you race. Already looking like one of the better original tracks.

A surprising addition to the DLC is a second F-Zero-inspired track. This time it’s Big Blue, and, if you thought Mute City was impressive, wait until you get a load of this one. This one is going to be insane to tackle on the new 200cc class that will be released in a free update alongside this new pack.

Another new course seems to be called Lingling Metro. You are underground during all of this track and will be racing over and alongside some high speed trains while looking to stay in first place. It’s a setting reminiscent of the Toad’s Turnpike track from Mario Kart 64.

And, finally, we have the Animal Crossing track. It features many locales and characters that fans from the series will intermediately recognize, like the Museum and the Beach. What’s cool about this one is that every time you race in it the season will change, so it’s four variations of the same course.

So, that’s it; two cups and eight new courses coming to Mario Kart 8 in a little over a week. Will you be getting them? Do you want to see more courses added? Let us know in the comments.
