GameArts Lunar

GameArts have created some the most amazing RPGs for various consoles over the years. Lunar, Grandia, and even Ragnarok Odyssey ACE have all been fantastic games that have garnered many fans. But as consoles get older and games get rarer, it’s become harder for new fans like myself to experience their classics. Well, it seems that GameArts is well aware of the problem, as they’ve released a survey asking fans what games they’d like to see get ported to PC and what digital distributors are common among fans.

As a PC user, this widespread willingness among Japanese developers to bring their games to PC is great. PC games often have the ability to be played for years after their initial release, thanks to Window’s commitment to legacy code. So in essence, bringing a game to PC is often a great way to preserve them for later generations. But what do you think? If GameArts brought their classics to PC, would you buy them?

About Guy Rainey

I’m Guy Rainey. I’m a hardcore Nintendo fan, a PC enthusiast, and a Sony sympathizer. Also an amateur/aspiring game creator. I love any game that puts story as the main focus of the game, so that means JRPGs are my favorite genre almost by default.
