Perhaps in news that is news to no one at all, the moody action-horror game Bloodborne for the PlayStation 4 has sold a million units. Directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki and developed by From Software, Bloodborne has been setting the Internet on fire, causing numerous op-eds, Twitter rants and Let’s Plays talking about the game’s extreme difficulty, as well as the satisfaction that comes from defeating its many terrible beasts. In the gaming world, it has become a genuine phenomenon, so it won’t be surprising to see even more copies sell.

Sony also announced a new patch for the game that would fix issues for certain players.
