Langrisser Re: Incarnation Tensei | oprainfall

Langrisser Re: Incarnation Tensei is the official title.

A few weeks ago, we reported the news of a new Langrisser game for the 3DS. New information has been released since for the upcoming game in Japan. The game will officially be titled Langrisser Re:Incarnation Tensei, and it is going to be released in Japan sometime in July. It appears the game is going to go back to its roots and have similar mechanics to the early titles on the Mega Drive. There is also going to be a special limited editon release. The limited edition package will include a 64 page art book, 2 disc soundtrack, and Rosalia and Licorice Puchi Figures.

The only game from the series to be released to the West was Warsong, the first game in the series. Would you purchase this game if it came Westward?

Would I purchase this game? Fuck yes!!! With bells on. I’d want the collector’s edition also. I pray Atlus, XSeed, etc localise this. I urge everyone who luv startegy rpgs to seek out the translated copy of Langrisser 2 for the Mega Drive (avoid the Snes one). It is pure gaming bliss.

Agreed. I spent more time playing each path than any other game. Langrisser 2 was ahead of its time in many ways.
