Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory II - Logo

It’s been a busy week for the Neptunia franchise with the release of more screenshots for both Hyperdimension Neptunia U: Action Unleashed and Hyperdevotion Noire: Goddess Black Heart. Today fares no different with an interesting video from the upcoming next mainline title in the franchise, Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory II.

It seems someone was able to sneak some footage of the original four Goddesses accessing their “Next Form” transformation. These forms, which will debut in this game, allow each Goddess to transform again, acting like a super mode to their already powerful Goddess form.

One interesting thing to note from this video though is that Victory II will be bringing back transformation sequences, at least for these Next Forms; which is something we haven’t seen in the games since the original Hyperdimension Neptunia.

Check out the video below.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory II will be released in Japan on April 23rd for the PlayStation 4. Let us know if you’re keeping an eye on this one and what you think of the new Next Forms. And if you’re new to the franchise, check out our Re-Review for the Steam version of Hyperdimension Neptunia Re:Birth1 for a great place to start.
