Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix Collectors Edition | oprainfall

Today via press release, Square Enix announced that Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix would be getting a sweet collector’s edition. I personally think it looks really cool, especially since it includes Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix. Here is a complete list of what is included:

The Collector’s Edition will include the following:

  • Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX Game Discs
  • Collector’s Steelbook Case The steelbook case contains both KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5 ReMIX and KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.5 ReMIX discs and features premium artwork from the series Director, Tetsuya Nomura.
  • Collector’s Edition Box
  • Shadow Heartless Plush Toy – 9.4 inch tall plush of the classic KINGDOM HEARTS foe
  • Exclusive Official Disney Collectible Pin- Features Sora and Mickey Mouse back to back, with the iconic keyblade with Mickey dangler. Made out of a soft enamel coating on metal, this pin’s height stretches out to 1.68 inches.
  • 30-Page Art Book and Dust Jacket – This art book includes an exclusive foreword and a sketch from Nomura, along with art from the series.

This edition will run you $99.99 or £79.99 and is only available at the Kingdom Hearts official site. You can also order a standard edition of the game for  $39.99/£29.99. This can be upgraded to the Limited Edition, which includes an exclusive official Disney collectible pin, by simply pre-ordering the game.

About Steve Baltimore

Steve started with oprainfall not long after the campaign moved from the IGN forums to Facebook. Ever since, he has been fighting to give all non-mainstream RPGs a fair voice. As the site admin, he will continue to do this and even show there is value in what some would deem "pure ecchi." He loves niche games and anime more than anything... well, except maybe Neptune.

Cheers for heads up. I just ordered it without pause. Crazy thing is i’ve had the limited edition version pre-ordered since Oct 2013. I’m not goin to cancel it just yet in case Square/Enix fucks me over. Why they decided to do this last min and only on their site is beyond me. The collection looks bloody great though. Guess i’ve have to sell my extra copy of KH 1.5.
