A brand new Nintendo Direct broadcast is scheduled to be live-streamed November 5, at 2PM PST/5PM EST/10PM GMT. Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata is expected to return to host this Direct. While NOA was mum on whether President Reggie Fils-Aime would show up, it was announced that Nintendo of Europe President Satoru Shibata will co-host the European broadcast. The Nintendo Direct will focus on both the Wii U and 3DS, and will showcase games launching later this year and early 2015.
Not counting the E3 Digital Event, this will be the first international multi-game Nintendo Direct since February. For the last few months Nintendo has opted to focus its Direct broadcasts on either specific games or specific regions. It’s nice to see Nintendo return to the multi-game, worldwide Direct format, and it will be interesting to see what software will be on display. Perhaps a certain RPG that will release next year…
