UPDATE: The sign-up for the GOG Galaxy Multiplayer Beta is now closed. Those of you that signed up will be receiving an email from GOG.com in the next few days.

GOG Galaxy

If you’re a user on GOG.com, you’ve probably received an email from the company dealing with a beta for the upcoming Galaxy platform. This is a platform that was revealed earlier this year as a DRM-free Steam-like platform.

The purpose of this beta is to test multiplayer gaming on the platform. To do this, GOG.com will be giving away Alien versus Predator Classic 2000 for free. This is an updated version of the 1999 FPS game Alien versus Predator that has all levels from AvP: Gold Edition and the Millennium Add-on Pack as well as Xbox 360 controller support.
