Xeodrifter

Fans of Renegade Kid are getting their first look at their newest title, Xeodrifter. This is a platformer game that will be released exclusively (at least for now) on the 3DS eShop. Check it out below.

From my viewpoint, the first impression I get is that of Mutant Mudds. This looks like a darker, more sci-fi version of that game. The depth looks cool, with the main character going from the foreground to background and back — although this time it looks like it might be able to be done at will rather than at certain points. One thing to note is that Jools Watsham originally toyed around with this as a demake of Moon. So, it feels like Moon remade like Mutant Mudds.

What do you guys think of this trailer? Are you excited about Xeodrifter? Are you still anxiously awaiting other Renegade Kid games like Treasurenauts? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
