Dreamfall Chapters

Those of you that have been waiting for the next installment in The Longest Journey series won’t have to wait much longer. Red Thread Games has announced that the crowdfunded Dreamfall Chapters will be releasing its first episode on October 21st, 2014.

Dreamfall Chapters is a 3D adventure game that is sequel to The Longest Journey and Dreamfall: The Longest Journey. The game takes place one year after protagonist ZoĆ« Castillo was left for dead at the end of Dreamfall. She is trapped in the realm of “Storytime” and must escape to help save not just the dystopian world of Stark but its fantastical parallel counterpart Arcadia.

The first episode of Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey will be titled Book One: Reborn. It will be releasing on Windows PC, Mac OS, and Linux via Steam and GOG.com and will be a timed console exclusive to the PlayStation 4. The PS4 version will be coming sometime early next year.
