Final Fantasy Type-0 HD | oprainfall

The subbed versus dubbed wars may rage on, but at least Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will be sidestepping the issue altogether. A Sony product page has revealed that the North American version of Type-0 will have both English and Japanese voices as well as English and Japanese subtitles packed in.

Importers will be glad to hear that the Japanese version will be doing the same. Why they would want to import the Japanese version when the NA version will be released two days ahead is anybody’s guess.

These details have yet to be released for the European version.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will be released on March 17, 2015 in North America, March 19, 2015 in Japan, and March 20, 2015 in Europe. The game is slated for the Xbox One and PS4.

About Karli Winata

Karli Winata is an avid gamer with a taste for a little bit of everything. Except for sports games. And racing sims. And definitely not hidden object games! I guess everything is too broad a term. Suffice it to say that he has been known to play hours of Call of Duty multiplayer in between bouts of Persona fusing and Star Coin collecting while saving the world/galaxy through sensibly bald space marines or plucky teenagers with impossible hairstyles. Where does he find the time to write about them?

  • OMG the totally awesome! 🙂

  • Thanatos2k

    Anime – subbed
    Video games – dubbed

    • Giordan

      Why.

    • Thanatos2k

Because dubbing in anime is usually inferior.

    • Giordan

      Cowboy Bebop?
      DBZ?
      Inuyasha?

    • Thanatos2k

See the word “usually” in my comment? It means what it means.

It happens sometimes sure. Space Dandy is also another anime whose English dubbing is better than the JP audio.

What does Baten Kaitos have to do with this?
